Once enrolled, you'll earn $1 for every kilowatt-hour of electricity saved during Flex events. A kilowatt-hour (kWh) is a way to measure how much electricity you are using over time. Examples of activities that use approximately one kilowatt-hour of electricity include:

You can log into your FlexSaver account to view your cumulative season earnings. At the end of the season (Mar. 31 for winter and Sept. 30 for summer), we’ll send you an email with instructions on how to redeem your reward.

You will be notified via email and/or SMS text messages. To set your notification preferences, log into FlexSaver. You must opt in to receive at least one type of notification in order to participate.

We calculate your energy savings for each Flex event using a baseline. This baseline is created by averaging the energy consumption of the four highest-usage days among the five weekdays before the event. Your goal is to use less energy during the event than this baseline. We also consider energy usage in the two hours before the event and the hour after the event, and make adjustments based on higher or lower usage during that time (e.g., 3-4 p.m. 7-8 p.m. 5-7分.m. 事件).
